Lester David Hutchinson, 66, of Graysville, died Friday, March 1, 2019 at his home.
He was born July 30, 1952 in Waynesburg a son of the late William Thomas Hutchinson and Evelyn Payne. He was a high school graduate and went on to attend the Washington Institute of Technology.
Lester was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, where he served aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt. He worked as a mechanic and was employed by the Joy Mining Company in Houston, PA for many years before retiring in 2014.
On December 24, 1974 he married Brenda Burnsworth Hutchinson, who died February 16, 2014.
He is survived by two daughters, Amy (William) Corcoran of Annville, PA and Jamie (Todd) Christopher of Brownsville, PA, as well as seven brothers; Dennis, Douglas, Jim, Bill, Darryl, Dick and Bob Hutchinson.
Lester is also survived by six grandchildren; Leanne Krupzig, Stone and Mac Corcoran, and Samantha, Todd David and Zachary Christopher.
In addition to his parents and late wife, he is preceded in death by two brothers; Kenny and Roger Hutchinson and two sisters; Naomi and Connie.
