Lillian Rebecca Marie Johnson 85 of Washington peacefully passed away at home on Sunday November 28, 2021 with her niece and great nephew by her side

She was born September 11, 1936 a daughter of the late John Nesbit and Myrtle Mae Howell Clemens.  She was a member of Trinity High School Class of 1956.  Lillian worked for Bobby Brooks Department Store, Steiners, and then helped her husband run D.C. Johnson Door Company.  She was a Christian by faith.  On July 8, 1955 she married Duane C. Johnson with whom she shared over 50 years of marriage before his passing in 2005.  She is survived by a sister Alice Gorby as well as several nieces and nephews.  Deceased in addition to her husband Duane and her parents are two sisters June Phillips, Elizabeth Lough, and two brothers Williams and Robert Clemens.  A private burial will be held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
