Obituary
Lillian (Shorty) McClellan Young, 101, formerly of Amity, PA
died May 3 2017 in Sahuarita Pima, Arizona.
She was born October 1, 1915, in Graysville, PA, The daughter of Marion and Stella Walker McClellan.
She attended Swart School in Amity and graduated from Trinity High School.
She attended Washington Business College in 1934.
Lillian married George W. Young on July 2, 1938.
A Mother of three children, Judith, David and Jeffrey.
She was a grandmother to eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Lillian was a life long member of Amity Methodist Church.
Deceased in addition to her husband are four brothers Herbert, Merle, Rossco and Charles, a son, David,
grandson
Douglas Holmes and a great grandson.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday May 10, 2017 from 4:00 – 9:00 P.M. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, PA, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday May 11, 2017, with Pastor Lois Swetsyn.
Interment
will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
