Linda Ann Edgar Welsh, 72, of Prosperity died Friday November 30. 2018 in her home.

She was born March 27, 1946 in Prosperity, PA to the late Ivan and Elsie Morris Edgar.

Linda was a graduate of Waynesburg Central High School.  She worked at G. C.  Murphy's Department Store in Washington for many years.  She then worked as a bartender for the Moose Lodge #22 in Washington before retiring due to her health problems. She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ruff Creek, PA.  Linda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, taking care of her dog, "Booh", watching Big Brother on T.V. and making homemade noodles for her family on holidays.  Mrs. Welsh enjoyed her neighborhood, where everyone helped one another.

She was married to George Welsh who died in 2001.

She is survived by her son Daniel (Justine) Welsh of Millsboro, PA; Four grandchildren, Alec Welsh, Brody Welsh, Ella Welsh, and Logan Conti; one niece, Stacy Edgar Strupec and two nephews, Bill Reedy and Bob Reedy.

Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are one sister, Barb Loar and one brother Jacob Edgar.

Family and friends will be received from 2:00 until 4:00 and 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. , Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, PA.  where funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 6, 2018  with the Pastor Tim Lindsay officiating.  Interment will follow in the Rosemont Cemetery, Rogersville, PA.  An online guestbook may be signed at www.nicholfuneralhome.com
