Lois M. "Peg" Nichol 90 of Deltona Florida formerly of Washington and Marianna died Monday September 5,2 011 at her son Barry's home, where she has resided for the past 9 years. She was born in West Bethlehem Township on May 10, 1921 a daughter of the late GW and Ida M. Rohrer Miles. She was a 1939 graduate of West Bethlehem High School. On October 14, 1939 she married Elmer Nichol who is deceased. The couple enjoyed over 60 years of marriage together. She and her late husband Elmer owned and operated the Twin Kiss soft ice cream stand in Waynesburg for many years. She enjoyed traveling, square dancing, and playing "500" cards with friends. She is survived by 2 sons E. Richard Nichol (Nancy) of East Hickory, Barry L. Nichol (Patricia) of Deltona Fl, 4 grandchildren J. Richard (Kim) Nichol of Washington, E. Richard "Rick" (Ann) Nichol of Delaware Ohio, Bernadette J. Roller of Dublin Ohio, L. Kimberly Landin of Lexington, Ohio, 11 grandchildren Melissa Nichol, Ashlee (Brett) Grandstrand, Erin Nichol, Kate (Mike) White, Ethan and Olivia Nichol, Cheyenne and Nicholas Roller, Shannon, Danielle, and Courtney Landin Deceased in addition to her husband and her parents are 4 sisters Virginia Shrontz, Ruth Wonsettler, Pauline Short, Lucille Handford, and a brother George Miles. Family and friends will be received Friday from 2-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington where funeral services will be held on Saturday September 10 2011 at 11:00a.m. with Rev. Gary Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna.
