Lorraine N. Anderson 88 of Bentleyville died Wednesday January 10, 2024 in North Strabane Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, McMurray.  She was born in Pittsburgh on November 11, 1935, daughter of the late Orvile and Margaret Gross Quillen.  She attended Cokeburg and Ellsworth schools.  On September 5, 1954 she married Carl Bartley Anderson Jr. with whom she had shared close to 50 years of marriage before his passing.   Lorraine was a member of Marianna United Methodist Church.   She sang in the choir, was active in committees and in WSCS.  She loved to bake, build puzzles, do word search books, spend time with her friends, and loved to read her Bible.  She is survived by three daughters Robyn Anderson of Marianna, Kyle Elish of Bentleyville, Carla Teluch (Terry) of Claysville, 7 grandchildren Barltey J. Anderson, Jeremiah E. Bell, Luke A. Bell, Tessa L. Justin A. Teluch, James Carl Elish, Holly Elish.  Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are her sister MSgt. Mary Louise Quillen.

Family and friends will be received Saturday from 11:00 a.m.- 2:00p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, PA 15301 where funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m. with Pastor Monte Turner officiating.  An online guestbook may be signed at www.nicholfuneralhome.com  In lieu  of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to City Mission of Washington.
