Lula Alene Davis Pratt, 94 of Washington died on Thursday October 30, 2025 in Peter's Township Post Acute Care, Canonsburg.   She was born one of 11 children to the late Karl and Mabel Marshall Davis.  She was a 1950 graduate of Jefferson Morgan High School.  She worked as a manager for Fashion Bug clothing stores.  Lula was a member of Lone Pine Christian Church.  She was a member of Lone Pine School PTA, was a Girl Scout Leader, and belonged to a dartball and bowling league. She had a passion for baking, sewing, crafting, and cooking.  She also loved children and enjoyed spending some time gambling.  In 1954 she married Herbert E. Pratt Sr. with whom she shared 45 years of marriage before his passing in 1999.  Together they raised three children Linda Meeks, Herbert Pratt Jr. and wife Diana, Barbara McCarty.  Surviving in addition to her children are grandchildren Lisa Bell Henry (Randy), Michael Bell, Christopher McCarty and Courtney McCarty. Also surviving are Great Grandchildren, Alyson Kessinger, Abbygail Kessinger, William Sutherland IV, Wyatt Sutherland, and Nathan Bell, siblings Ruth Barnhart(Larry), Donna Shaffer (William), Vickie Steinmiller, Jerry Davis (Sue), Paula Gifford (Jim), Pamela Beerbower (and the late Ken), brother in law Richard Patterson.  Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are siblings Margaret (Harold) Kennedy, Milton (Faye) Davis, Harold (Irmheld) Davis, Robert "Bob" (Mary) Davis, Shirley Patterson, grandson Keith Kessinger, and great grandson Chandler Kessinger.  Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, where funeral services will be held on Friday November 7, 2025 at 11:00a.m. with Pastor Douglas Heagy officiating.  Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park.  An online guestbook may be signed at www.nicholfuneralhome.com
