Mabel Pearl Roberts 87 of Washington died Sunday April 26, 2015 in Presbyterian Senior Care-Southmont. She was born in Greene County, on August 19, 1927, a daughter of the late Curtis Earl and Isa Pearl Dunn Cale. She was a homemaker. Mabel was a member of Lone Pine Christian Church, where she served with the Christian Women's Fellowship. She also was a member of the Lone Pine Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Washington CB radio club, and was a Cub Scout Den Mother. On March 5, 1947 she married James P Roberts with whom she shared 57 years of marriage before his passing on September 27, 2004. She is survived by two sons James (Sandy) Roberts of Prosperity, Harry "Rick" (Carol Jean) Roberts of Washington, a brother Bryan (Wilma) Cale of Washington, two sisters Betty Thompson Weber of Scenery Hill, Shirley (Ron) Vester of York,PA five grandchildren Kim Roberts, Beth (John) Norwich, Alena Roberts, Alyssa Roberts, Sean Ragazzini, six great grandchildren Brandon Norwich, Samantha Roberts, Megan Roberts, Brittany Ragazzini, Cassy Ragazzini, Bobbi Ragazzini, as well as many nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are a grandson Bobby, and two brothers Arleigh and Melvin Cale. Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 29, 2015 at 11:00a.m. Interment will follow in Lone Pine Cemetery.
