Obituary

Marci L. Kelsey 57 of Amwell Township, peacefully went to be with the Lord Friday, November 20, 2015. She died in the Washington Hospital, following a brave battle of 10 months with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Her goal over the last ten months was to have a stem cell transplant, but she was never strong enough or healthy enough to receive one. She was very courageous and always had a positive attitude and quick wit about her. She was born October 7, 1958, in Washington Hospital to the late James H. Kelsey Sr. and Barbara E. Pettit Kelsey. Marci was a 1976 graduate of Trinity High School. Following high school she earned a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh. She worked for FedEx Ground in Moon Township for over 28 years. She loved to sew and bake, especially her famous apple pie. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially children. She is survived by a sister Cindy L. Randall, two brothers James H. (Rachel) Kelsey Jr., and John E. Kelsey with whom she made her home. Also, surviving are several loving nieces and nephews, as well as many faithful friends and additional family members. Deceased in addition to her parents is a brother in law Richard J. Randall. Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 25, 2015 at 11:00a.m with Pastor David Decker officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
