Marcia A. Piatt Frazee 56 of Lone Pine passed away Thursday October 13, 2016 after battling lung cancer. She was born in Washington on January 24, 1960, a daughter of Fostine Piatt. Marcia attended Trinity High School. She worked for the Pa Liquor Control Board as a manager for over 25 years. She was an active member of the Lone Pine Community. She belonged to Lone pine Christian Church. She was a lifetime member of Lone Pine Fire Department where she formerly served as the first and only Woman President, was an EMT, was very active in fundraising, and former president of the Lone Pine Fire Department ladies Auxiliary. She was also very involved in Lone Pine Baseball and the merger of Lone Pine to TSA baseball. She was superintendent for the fruits, nuts, and eggs at the Washington County Fair. She loved going to Disney World, traveling with her family, going on car rides, playing BINGO Jigsaw puzzles and cross stitch. She loved her cats Max and Erma, enjoyed spending time with her cousin Arlene Efaw whom she was very close with. She loved hosting family holidays and gatherings. On July 29, 1978 she married Jim Frazee with whom she shared 37 years of marriage before his passing on December 15, 2015. She is survived by three sons Wesley A. (Brandi) Frazee of Washington, Ryan J. (Monica) Frazee of Prosperity, Brandon M. (Tiffany) Frazee, four siblings; Jack B. (Margaret) Piatt of Prosperity, Carolyn (John) Kurucz of Washington, Linda McCloskey of Washington, Raymond (Ruth Ann) Piatt of Washington, two grandchildren Makenna Frazee and Christopher Furbee, as well as several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received Saturday from 7-9p.m., Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m., in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington where funeral services will be held on Monday October 17, 2016 at 11:00a.m. with Rev. Linda Mankey officiating. Interment will follow in Lone Pine Cemetery. A Fireman's Service will be held by Lone Pine Fire Department at 7:00p.m Sunday October 16, 2016 at the funeral home.
