Marjorie Iddon Johnson 89 of Amity went to be with her Lord Sunday July 19, 2015 in Signature HealthCare, Graceville Florida. She was born January 31, 1926 in Munhall, a daughter of Edward and Edith Dewey Iddon. She graduated from Munhall High School, she was a homemaker. She moved to Graceville Florida, due to illness in 2014 to live with her daughter, who was her caretaker. She was a lifetime member of North Ten Mile Baptist Church, serving as a Sunday school teacher and Bible school teacher, member of the Silver Star Mission Circle, Women's Auxiliary and the choir. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, she enjoyed watching game shows, crossword and word search puzzles reading her Bible, singing hymns, traveling, camping, the beach, but most of all time spent with her family. She is survived by her husband of 67 years Walter Johnson, son Eric (Sylvia) Johnson of Washington, Cynthia "Cindy" (Rusty) Doman of FL, five grandchildren Kevin Johnson of Amity, Tina (Ben) Hines of Washington, Ryan (Addison) Johnson of Greensburg, Patrick Doman of Florida, and Sean R. Doman of Florida, seven great grandchildren Sierra Kelley, Noah Schroeder, Charles Johnson, Ayden, Alivia, Riley and Payton Johnson, one great great grandson Romeo Porter, two brothers Edward (Gib) Iddon of Elizabeth, John (Judy) Iddon of Alexander City, Alabama as well as several nieces and nephews.Deceased are her parents, sister Edith Clemens son Scott Johnson. Family and friends will be received on Friday July 24, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington where funeral services will be held on Saturday July 25, 2015 at 11;00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Gary Schneider officiating. Interment will follow in North Ten Mile Baptist Cemetery, Amity. memorial contributions my be made to North Ten Mile Baptist Church 322 Ridge Church Rd, Amity PA 15311.
