Marjorie B. McCrory of Wichita Kansas formerly of Washington died February 28, 2013 in Wichita. She was born in Beallsville on April 28, 1918, a daughter of the late Aaron C. and Maude Bristor Bonnell. She lived in the Washington area most of her life, and then resided in the Tampa Bay area for 35 years and most recently in Wichita for 15 years. She attended Washington Area Schools and then went on to business college. She worked as a real estate agent, being the first female agent in Washington. She worked for the George Lenk Agency in Washington from 1952-1956 and then as a real estate Commission and Broker in Florida for 23 years in the Sarasota/Bradenton area where she had her own office. On August 9, 1937 she married J. Kenneth McCrory with whom she shared 49 years of marriage before his passing on July 30, 1986. She was a protestant. She enjoyed volunteering at hospitals both in Florida as well as Kansas. She is survived by a daughter Marjorie Grace Saindon of Wichita, 4 grandchildren, several great grandchildren as well as several great great grandchildren. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are two infant sons James Melvin McCrory and Donald Eugene McCrory, brothers Melvin Bonnell, Ora Bonnell, Bud Bonnell, and Francis Bonnell, sisters Mildred Bonnell, Elsie Ogden, Ruth Jennings, Della Willis, and Louise Elliott. Family and friends will be received Thursday March 7, 2013 from 9-11 a.m. the time of service. Interment will follow in Lone Pine Cemetery.
