Mark A. Onopiuk 57 of McDonald died Thursday November 6, 2014 in his home. He was born in Washington on March 7, 1957 a son of Paul Onopiuk of Port Angeles, Washington and the late Katherine Martin Onopiuk. He was a 1975 graduate of Trinity High School. Mark was self employed for many years, owning the KOA campground in Pancake. After selling the KOA he went on to work for West Penn Power, from where he retired in 2012. He enjoyed riding motorcycles throughout his life. He is a former active member of South Strabane Volunteer Fire Dept. #1 in Pancake. In 1983 he married Holly Onopiuk with whom he has shared over31 years of marriage. Surviving in addition to his wife is a sister Carla Hull.
