Obituary

Mary Jane "Dink" Crile 89 formerly of Glyde died Sunday April 27, 2025 in Townview Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.  She was born April 3, 1936 on the family farm in Amwell Township.  She was a graduate of Trinity High School.  Mary Jane worked for Brockway Glass in Washington, until its closure.  She completed her working career at Sarris Candies in Canonsburg.  She was a lifetime member of Lone Pine Christian Church earning the position of Deaconess Emeritus as of 2013.  She lived in the Glyde apartment complex for over 50 years where she loved to mow and weedwhack while she was able.   Dink enjoyed bowling, earning many rings in local Women's leagues.   She also enjoyed plastic canvas, which she practiced up until the last year of her life.   She would make various holidays, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Pirates, as well as farm themed.  She was comfortable with her life, her friends who became family and her strong Faith.  She was forever grateful for Andy and all his patience and intelligence of helping her.  She is survived by her brother-in-law and constant longtime friend Bill (Dianne) Davidson, sister in law Gayle Lynn Ferrari Crile, lifetime friend Frances Shrontz, niece Christy and husband Andrew Vore, as well as several other nieces and nephews.   Deceased are parents Harry H. and Nellie Mae Reeves Crile, five brothers Blaine, Kenneth, Eugene, Roy, and Paul Crile, as well as two sisters Ruth Ann Davidson and Dorothy Jean Conkle.  At the request of the deceased no services will be held and arrangements are handled by Nichol Funeral Home 1873 E.
