Mary V. Irey, 103, of Washington, formerly of Ten Mile, PA died Monday October 1, 2018 in the  Presbyterian Senior Care, Southmont, Washington, PA.

She was born March 27, 1915 in Ten Mile, PA , a daughter of the late J. Sanford and Ida Martin Gibson.

She was a 1935 graduate of Trinity High School and was a homemaker.

Mary was a former member of the Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church in Ten Mile.  She is a Member of the Lower Ten Mile Presbyterian Church in Amity.  She had been a Sunday school Teacher, Elder and also took care of cleaning the church.  She was a member of the Amwell Twp.Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Lagonda Homemakers.  She enjoyed Quilting, her flower Garden and Baking for the family.

She was married to the late Arthur C. Irey who died September 22, 1986.

She is survived by one son, James Irey of Washington, PA. One brother Wallace (Bud) Gibson, Washington, PA and One sister Norma Beecham, Washington, PA., Two grandchildren Kathy Booher and Janet Irey and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are Two Sisters, Esther Cooper, Jean Day and Four Brothers, John Gibson, Lawrence (Ike) Gibson, Paul Gibson and Ralph Gibson.

Family and friends will be received from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M and 6:00P.M. until 8:00P.M.  on Thursday October 4, 2018 in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, PA where Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M.
