Mary Ann Lampart Pope 86 of Marianna died Saturday April 13 2024 in Washington Hospital.  She was born in Washington County on January 14, 1938.  She was a 1956 graduate of West Beth High School.   Mary Ann worked at Washington Hospital for several years in the radiology department.  She also served as secretary at the former  Sts. Mary & Ann Roman Catholic Church St. Oliver Plunkett Parish. Where she was a longtime member and taught CCD for many years.  Mary Ann also enjoyed cooking, baking, and going to the Beach.   She loved to play BINGO and had a very active social life.  She cherished her time as a grandma and great grandma.  On October 18, 1958 she married Robert R. Pope with whom she shared 63 years of marriage before his passing on March 01, 2022.  She was the beloved Baba of grandson Robert Ehrhardt, granddaughter Danielle (Justin) Topper, great grandchildren Emma, Kian, Dylan, Jonathan, Ariella, Samantha, and Connor.  She is also survived by sister Mary Louise Mattis, son-in-law Robert Durbin as well as several nieces and nephews.  Deceased in addition to her husband are her parents Matthew and Agnes Lampart, son Robert J. Pope, daughter Debra Pope Durbin, brother Sonny Lampart, two sisters Nancy Kendrick and Madeline Wloch.  Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 5-7pm in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, where a blessing service will be held on Thursday April 18, 2024 at 10:00a.m.    Interment will follow in Sts.
