Obituary
Mary Louise "SARGE" Quillen, 79, died August 15, 2017, in Thorpe's Personal Care Home,Charleroi, PA. She was born February 26, 1938, in Cokeburg, a daughter of Orville and Margaret Gross Quillen. She attended Cokeburg and Ellsworth Schools and graduated in 1956 in Ohio. She worked for J. C. Peney and joined the Air Force in 1962, while serving in Virginia and Hawaii, retiring in 1982 as Master Sgt. with 20 years active and 10 additional years in the reserves. Surviving in a sister Lorraine Anderson, three nieces Robyn Anderson, Kyle Elish and Carla Teluch. Seven great nieces and nephews Bartley Anderson, Jeremiah Bell, Luke Bell, Tessa Hess, Justin Teluch, Holly Elish, and James Carl Elish. Ten great nieces and nephews Dylan Anderson, Ethan Anderson, Makenna Hess, Ryan Hess, Abigail Hess, Bryce Elish, Cameron Amos, Paige Amos, Jonah Teluch and Athena Teluch. Family and friends will be received from 2 p.m.to 6 p.m. the time of service, Friday, August 18, in the Nichol Funeral Home, 1728 Main Street, Marianna, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Washington Area Humane Society, PO Box 66, Eighty Four, PA 15330.
