Marylin V. Scott, 85, passed away peacefully Thursday May 11, 2017 in the Donnell House Washington, following a long struggle of her pain. She was born April 15, 1932 in Hundred WV, a beloved daughter of Okey and Mary Morris of Hundred. Marylin was a member of the Franklin Farms Church of Christ. She enjoyed traveling. Some of her favorite places where Hawaii and Las Vegas. Marylin also loved country music and enjoyed going to country shows in Ohio at Ponderosa Park where she did a lot of camping. Country music was a big part of her life. She enjoyed going to Hillbilly Haven in the summer time to listen to her brothers and sisters on stage singing. She would even get up there once in a while and sing also. Left to her cherish her memory, her husband of 60 years, Lawrence W. Scott and her three children Richard (Debbie) Scott, Rebecca (Robert) Waters, Lawrence W. Scott Jr. She also had seven grandchildren, Robert (Jamie) Waters, Shianne, Daniel, Michaela, Wyatt, Jonah, and Samara Scott. She also has three beloved great grandchildren, Eliana, Caden, and Beckett Waters. Her number four great grandchild is on the way. Marylin also had many brothers and sisters, Alvin (Hazel), Calvin (Shirley), Fred (Donna), Jack (Lou) Morris. Deceased in addition to her parents are two brothers, Raymond and David Morris, and two sisters Phyllis Yeater and Margaret Sullivan. Family and Friends will be received on Sunday May 14, 2017 from 2:00 P.M. Until 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, PA 15301 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday May 15, 2017. Interment will follow in The Washington Cemetery.
