Melanie Dawn Crowe, 43, passed away early Sunday morning, August 22, 2021.

She is survived by her daughter, Riley Crowe (Robert Smith); brother, Joseph Kurilko, Jr. (Laura); sisters, Melissa Smoody and Marcie Legler (Patrick Lyons); nephew, Jackson Legler; aunts, Josephine Konrad (Joe Konrad) and Marie Camp (Roger Camp); cousins, Roger Camp (Kate Camp), Gary Camp (Kristin Camp), Julia Konrad (Dylan Reed), Joey Konrad, and Emily, Riley, Greyson, Lilly, and Olive Camp; uncles, Terry "Sonny" Lewis and John Martin, Jr.; and partner Steve Matiyasic.

Melanie was predeceased by her mother and father, Barbara and Joseph Kurilko; paternal grandparents Julia and Joseph Kurilko; and maternal grandmother Katherine Campbell.

She was a kind, loving person. She loved spending time with her family and friends and her fur baby Tosh. She enjoyed cooking and watching YouTube. Melanie was a humble person with simple needs to make her happy.

Melanie was taken from us too young and will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.

There will be no service. Arrangements for cremation are being handled by Nichol Funeral Home, Washington.
