Michael Loar, 47 of Canonsburg  died Friday, November 22, 2024 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  He was born in Washington on October 29, 1977.  He attended Canon McMillan Schools.  Mike worked in construction, remodeling, and landscaping.  He enjoyed watching Pittsburgh Steelers, enjoyed the outdoors and staying busy.  He is survived by mom Linda L. and step-father  Rick  Kinnan of Washington, girlfriend Mindy Hepple,  siblings John (Erica) Loar, James Loar Jr., Ashley Loar, 7 nieces and nephews Jonathan Kirn, Jacoby, Ember Jovi Loar, Julia, Jessa, and Josie Loar, four aunts Betty Phillips, Delores (Les) Gentile, Mary Phillips, Fran Bennett, two uncles Bill Loar, and Harold Loar.   Preceding him in death are a son Jared "J.J." Alderson, father James Russell Loar, brother B.J. Loar, aunt Hannah Loar.   Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 12-2 and 4-6p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, where funeral services will be held at 6:00p.m. with Pastor Tim Lindsay officiating.  An online guestbook may be signed at www.nicholfuneralhome.com
