Michael Lavan Samsel 48 of Marianna died Monday January 23, 2012. He was born In Harrisburg on August 5, 1963, a son of Donald L. and Joan M. Dautrich Samsel. He was a 1981 graduate of Nashua High School in New Hampshire. He then went on to attend the University of New Hampshire and Keene State College. Mr. Samsel worked in Real Estate Sales for Century 21 for many years. He also worked part time at the Nemacolin Country Club. He proudly served in the United States Navy reserves. Michael was an outdoorsman; loving to fish, camp , boat, and waterski. He also enjoyed his animals. He is survived by parents Donald L. and Joan Marie Samsel, a brother Patrick (Julie) Samsel, 2 sisters Julie Kaye Stanley and Shelly (Michael) Crouch, as well as 8 nephews. A mass of Christian Burial will be held In Immaculate Conception Church on Saturday January 28, 2011 at 10:00a.m. with Father Michael Ruffalo officiating.
