Mildred I. Dybowski, 86, West Bethlehem Township, Marianna, Pa. died Sunday, March 30, 2014 in the Washington County Health Center. She was born December 2, 1927 in Amwell Township, a daughter of the late George E. and Martha Naomi Rasel Briggs. She had been employed by the former Brockway Glass plant in Washington, Pa for several years. Mrs. Dybowski was a member of the North Ten Mile Baptist Church and had been a member of the Glyde American Legion Auxiliary. In 1973 she married Leo E. Dybowski who is deceased. Surviving are one daughter, Anna Lee (Donald) Earnest of Marianna, PA One Brother, Richard Briggs of Washington, PA 3 Grandchildren, David E. Earnest, DeeAnn Ammann, and Daniel Wayne Earnest. 5 Great Grandchildren, Elijah Earnest, Grayson Carothers, Josiah Earnest, Landon Carothers, and Kayleigh Earnest. Several nieces and nephews. Also deceased are 2 Brothers, Robert and Kenneth E. Briggs. Family and friends will be received from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM Wednesday in the Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, Pa. where Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, April 3, 2014 with the Rev. David Earnest officiating. Interment will follow in the Lone Pine Cemetery.
