Miles S. Hupp 87 of Amity died Sunday April 4, 2021 in Washington Healthsystem. He was born October 16, 1933 in Washington, a son of the late Moses S. and Pearl Hatfield Hupp. He was a graduate of Trinity High School and then went on to serve in the United States Navy. He worked for Jessop Steel for 36 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Lone Pine Christian Church. He loved to shoot pool, especially at Shenanigans. He was an APA member. He always enjoyed morning coffee with his buddies at Krency's. Mr. Hupp was loved by many, he had an infectious laughter and could always put a smile on your face. On May 18 1972 he married Mary Ruth Richmond with whom he shared years of marriage before her passing in 2007. He is survived by a son Scott T. Hupp of Amity, a grandson Jacob Miles Hupp, two sisters Peggy Kiskadden of Warren, Ohio, and Audrey Rogers of Huntsville, Alabama, as well as several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his wife Mary Hupp, and parents are a brother Eugene Hupp, sister Yvonne Hupp, and two brother-in-laws Jerome Kiskadden and Wesley Rogers. Family and friends will be received Thursday April 8, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington. In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorial donations be made to the charity of one's choice.
