Mitsuko Vasko 70 of Marianna died Saturday September 3, 2011 in Kade Nursing Home, Washington. She was born on December 3, 1940 in Nagasaki Japan a daughter of the late Kinjulow and Kiku Matsuie Deshita. She attended schools in Japan. On October 20, 1979 she married William N. Vasko who is deceased. Mrs. Vasko enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and playing with her dog Duke. She is survived by 4 children Kathleen (James) Bedillion of Marianna, Candy Stathers of Erwin, Dennis (Noemi) Bird of Oklahoma City, Mary Jane Vasko of Washington, siblings Sumiko Deshito, Katsuyo Cass, Katsuharu Deshita, Ujlow Deshita, 9 grandchildren Chase Bedillion, Zack and Eli Stathers, Chris, Chelsea Bird, Ashley Bird Harden, Kaitlyn Loar, Bo and Luke McCartney, 2 great grandchildren Reede Harden and Jase Stathers, as well as several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents is a sister Yoshiko Nakamura. Family and friends will be received Tuesday September 6, 2011 from 1-3 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden street Washington.
