Myrna E. Acklin 87 of Washington died Sunday January 19, 2025 in Presbyterian Senior Care Southmont.  She was born in Washington on April 13, 1937 a daughter of the late Ray and Bernice Connelly Locy.  She was a 1955 graduate of Trinity High School.  She worked for Gee Bee's in Washington.  She formerly attended Faith Christian Church and Grace Brethren Church, both in Washington.   She was a former member of the Polish Club as well as the Pulaski Club.  She is survived by three children Brian K. Acklin of Strabane, PA, Jay H. (Leeann) Acklin of Lakewood, CO, Joy E. Ross of Sanford, FL, sister Karen Snedecker, brother Randy Locy, three grandchildren Hannah Acklin, Sean Ross, Ashley Acklin,  nieces and nephews Debbie Tustin, Richard Snedeker, Sherry Conti, Leslie Ealy, Danny Locy, Cheyenne Locy, Brad Acklin, Julie Vite, Renee Sosa, George Acklin, Leslie Monda, Nancy Last Name, Bill Acklin, Bob Acklin, Larry Acklin, Joyce Martin, as well as several other nieces and nephews.   Deceased in addition to her parents are ex-husband J. Homer Acklin, sister Connie Kloska, and two brothers Howard and Jay Locy.   Family and friends will be received Thursday from 4-8P.M. and Friday from 11:00A.M.-1:00P.M in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M.
