Nancy Marie Tichnel Fowler 69 of Washington died Sunday May 20 2012 in UPMC-Presby. She was born in Washington on August 23, 1942 a daughter of the late Willis and Anna Tichnel. She was a 1960 graduate of Trinity High School and also graduated from Penn Commercial. On November 5, 1960 she married Jack Fowler who survives. Nancy worked for an investment company in New Jersey, at KMART and most recently as a line inspector for Russell Stover Candies. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Nancy enjoyed the computer and antique glassware shopping. She was the last of her immediate family. Surviving in addition to her husband jack Fowler of Washington are 3 children Cynthia (Jerry) Elston of Dickson, Tennessee, Stephen (Micheelle) Fowler of Herndon, VA, and Marcie Jo (Howard) Dickholtz of Freehold, NJ, 4 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, a great granddaughter as well as several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents are a daughter Christina Fowler, a sister Martha Blumer, Brother Robert Tichnel. At the request of the deceased services will be private and handled by Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington.
