Nancy J. Monk 86 of Marianna died January 1, 2021 in Washington Healthsystem.  She was born in Shoals, IN on January 29, 1934, daughter of Lowell and Lora Bell Campbell Hendrix.  She worked at Hill's Department store for many years as a clerk before her retirement.  She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Waynesburg.  ON August 22, 1962 she married Jeff O. Monk with whom she shared 26 years of marriage before his passing in 1988.  She is survived by four children Rebecca Bierer of Dilliner, Douglas J. Monk of Marianna, Julie Martin of Marianna, and Jennifer Greene of Charleroi, a brother Wallace Hendrix of Shoals, IN, six grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.   She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two granddaughters Dina, and Sarah, as well as a brother Max Hendrix.  Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1728 Main Street Marianna, PA 15345 where funeral services will be held at 1:00p.m. with Pastor Arnold Watts officiating.  Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery
