Nathaniel Calloway, 63, of Clarksville, PA was called home on Sunday November 29, 2015 in the Washington Hospital. He was born in Clarksville, PA on July 29, 1952, a son of the late Nathaniel and Mary Pearl Allen Calloway, Sr.. He was a graduate of Beth Center High School in 1970. He was a member of United Mine Workers of America while employed at the Beth-Energy Mines Corporation Mine #58 in Marianna for several years. He later was employed by Kade's Nursing Home in Washington for several years before retiring in 2004. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Mary Ann Johnson Calloway of Clarksville, PA. He is also survived by two daughters Margaret Chandler of Clarksville, PA, Eureatha Comedy of Clarksville, PA, one son Alan Comedy of Sacramento, CA, four brothers Kenneth Williams of Harrisburg, PA, Sylvester Lawson of Cleveland, OH, John Banks of Philadelphia, PA, Emmet Raymond of West Virginia, one sister Jocelyn "Sissy" Calloway of Philadelphia, PA, 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, three god children, two living Aunts, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Lawson and Montue Lawson, and grandson Jonathan B. Reyes. Family and Friends will be received from 11a.m.-1p.m. on Saturday December 5, 2015 in the First Baptist Church 171 First St. Clarksville, PA 15322. A celebration of life service will begin at 1p.m. at the church. Nichol Funeral Homes Marianna and Washington are in charge of arrangements.
