Nita A. Bromley Chopp 93, of Washington died Monday September 11, 2017.  She was born in Charleston, WV, on April 30, 1924, a daughter of the late William and Gladys Strickland Curry.

Nita was a homemaker.  She was a long time member of Laboratory Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir.  She was a former member of the Amity Grange and the Amwell  Twp. Firemen's  Auxiliary.  She also enjoyed square dancing and Bingo.

Nita married John Z. Bromley, Jr. on May 25, 1945, they celebrated 47 years of marriage before his death on October 9, 1992.  On August 28, 1993 she married Anthony Chopp, celebrating 13 years of marriage before his death on January 15, 2007.

Nita is survived by her two daughters Pamela J. Riggans of Washington and Judy A. Secreti of Washington.  Nine Grandchildren; Wray Clark, Tamara Fazio (Pete), Sheila Phillips (Scott), Stacy Dran, Kim Fleissner, Candi Riggans, Don Riggans(Kim), Brittany Secreti and Bethany Secreti.   20 great grandchildren and 22 great great grandchildren.

Deceased In addition to her parents and her two husbands are two daughters; Alice Bromley and Joyce A. Clark, a Son-in-Law, Donald Riggans a grandson John Clark and a great-great granddaughter Decklyn Klages.

Family and friends will be received at the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, PA on Friday September 15 from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. the time of funeral services.  Interment will follow in the Lower Ten Mile Presbyterian Cemetery, Amity PA.  An online guestbook may be signed at www.nicholfuneralhome.com
