Norma Phillips Pryor 93 of Marianna died Sunday August 26, 2012 in Presbyterian senior Care-Southmont. She was born in Ellsworth on February 3, 1919 a daughter of Rev. Cedor and Maria Eufimoff "Chemofeyeez" Phillips. She was a 1937 graduate of West Bethlehem high school. She was a member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Old Believers church in Marianna where she served as a reader. Norma was also a member of Marianna Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading and cooking as well as spending time with her granddaughter. In 1946 she married Tony Pryor who died in 1999. She is survived by a son Dr. Charles S. and wife Marianne Pryor, granddaughter Chelsey (Jason) Burk Deceased in addition to her parents and husband of over 50 years are a brother Charles C. Phillips, 5 sisters Gertrude Dwyer, Pearl Williams, Anne McCardle, A. Regina Brinegar, Ivanore Sonye Clark. Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 2-6p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1728 Main Street Marianna PA 15345. Funeral services will be held in the St. Nicholas Russian orthodox Old Believers Church on Wednesday August 29 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Lawrence Evanoff officiating. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Nicholas Russian orthodox Old Believers Church Marianna PA 15345.
