Paul Richard "Pauly" Vargo 68, of Washington died June 27, 2013 in the Washington Hospital with his son Jeffrey by his side holding his hand. He was born April 11, 1945, a son of the late Paul and Mildred Vargo of Marianna. The past three years he was in the Washington County Health Center where he received wonderful care by great people who became part of his family. Surviving is a son Jeffrey Vargo of Canonsburg and three grandchildren Jesse, and the twins Julia and Jayna Vargo. A sister Shirley Brookman of Washington who cared after him for several years. He served in the armed forces. He was a member of the Marianna Legion Post 744. He loved to fish and to garden. He also loved the Steelers and country music. He had a great love for the Vargo Family Reunion. Our "Pauly Boy" will be missed. Family and friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1728 Main St. Marianna, PA 15345 where funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 2, 2013 at 11:00a.m. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery.
