Obituary

Phillip Lee Work of Washington died March 25, 2012 in his home. He was born March 25, 1971 in Brookville a son of the late Floyd and Ellie Work. He earned his GED and was a graduate of Washington High School. Mr. Work worked for West Point Products in Washington as a line leader. He enjoyed working and spending time with his children and granddaughter. On December 12, 2011 he married Amy Lynn Hickman who survives. Surviving in addition to his wife Amy Work are 3 children Angel Marie Work, Phillip Lee Work Jr., and Raymond Lee Work, all of Washington, a granddaughter Kennady Jean Rose Work-Knight, 3 sisters Cynthia Jean Mercado (Joseph) , Patricia Louise Jokinen, Roberta Ann Powell (Jerome), 3 brothers Robert Carl Work (Dottie) , Martin Alexander Work (Colleen) , and John Martin Work (Lea Ann) , as well as many nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his parents are a sister Alice Joy Holmes and a brother Ronald Sauer. Friends will be received Thursday march 29 2012 from 3-7p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 7:00p.m. with Pastor Tim Lindsay officiating.
