Loving mom and grandmother

Phyllis J. Pieper, 82, of Portland, Ore., died Monday, November 7, 2016, in The Grove at Washington, Washington.

She was born in Portland, February 8, 1934, a daughter of the late Percy "Pete" and Margaret St. Clair Mitchell.

She married David Franklin Pieper, September 18, 1953, who died January 24, 2010.

She was a homemaker, a loving mom and grandmother who will be sadly missed.

Surviving are a son, Wallace David (Fran) Pieper of Marianna; daughter Laurie Ann (Randy) Williams of Langley, British Columbia; five grandchildren, Haley Williams, Sydney Williams, Nicole Pieper, Taylor Pieper and Morgan Pieper; and two nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are her twin sister, Sylvia West and a brother, Don Mitchell.

Services will be private and are being handled by Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, PA 15301.
