Raymond H. Grogan, 75, of Burgettstown (Formerly of Gautier, Mississippi) died Thursday, August 29, 2019 in the Greenery Center, Canonsburg.

He was born January 16, 1944 in Biloxi, Mississippi, a son of the late James and Miriam Grogan. After graduating from Cathedral High School in 1965, he enlisted twice in the US Navy to serve his country and was a proud Navy veteran.

Raymond worked as a machinist for Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, Mississippi for 30 years, until his retirement in 2005 and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gautier, MS.

He is survived by one daughter; Mary Grogan of Burgettstown as well as one brother; James "Jimmy" Grogan of Slidell, LA; and two sisters, Linda Clive of Culver, IN and Sue Herrington, of Gautier, MS.

In addition, Raymond is survived by one grandson, Issac Roberts, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, September 3, 2019 in the Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, PA with Pastor Tim Lindsey officiating. All other services will be private.
