Rena Mae Ligoski 88 of Marianna died Friday July 1, 2011 in Presbyterian Senior Care-Southmont. She was born April 2. 1923 in Barnesboro, Cambria County, a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Davis Formeck. Rena was raised by her late grandparents Charles and Rena Mae Davis Tufford. She attended Barr School in Marianna. Ms. Ligoski worked in the food service industry for many years at Angelo's restaurant in Washington, and then for the Red Bull Inn from where she retired. She was a member of the Jessop Club in Washington where she enjoyed playing dartball for years. She also enjoyed flowers, bids, reading, music and traveling. She was twice married, first to Raymond Duvall and then Edward Ligoski, both of whom are deceased. She is survived by an only daughter Nancy Pees of Marianna, 2 grandsons Pete and wife Denise Pees of Georgia, and Dr. Edward and wife Tracey Pees of Rhode Island, 3 great granddaughters Annika, Autumn, and Katelyn. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1728 Main Street Marianna, PA 15345 where funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 6, 2011 at 1:00p.m. with Pastor Tim Lindsey officiating.
