Richard Thomas Byrd Jr. 34 of Washington died Monday December 25, 2023.  He was born in Washington on October 22, 1989, son of Richard Thomas Byrd Sr. and Emma Louise Jenkins.  He attended Trinity schools.  Richard loved wrestling and playing video games.  In addition to his parents he leaves behind Maternal Grandmother Mary Jenkins, many cousins, aunts, and uncles, as well as his beloved pets Teddy, Snowball, and Kallie. He was predeceased by Maternal grandfather Glenn Jenkins and favorite uncle Howard Byrd.  Family and friends will be recieved Thursday December 28 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, where funeral services will be held on Friday December 29, 2023 at 11:00a.m.   Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
