Richard "RD" Milan Richard David "RD" Milan 24 of Washington, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 in Washington Hospital. He was born August 26, 1987, in Washington, the son of Robert W. Milan and Valerie K. Milan, and stepson of Marlene Smith. RD attended Trinity High School and was a member of the marching band. He later earned his GED and attended classes at CCAC. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As a youth RD was an active member of the Laboratory Presbyterian Church youth group, a Boy Scout, and soccer player. He enjoyed music, the Steelers and working on anything mechanical. He was kind, loving and determined to live as independently as possible. Surviving in addition to his parents are his Aunt Marti Milan and Uncle Kevin Young, Aunt Tammy and Uncle Jeff Bloemker and Cousins John and Joyce Bloemker along with other aunts, uncles and cousins. Deceased are his grandparents Richard B. and Carole H. Milan and Ivan and Carol Cutlip Friends and family will be received from 6 to 7p.m. the hour of service on Thursday June 7, 2012 in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East maiden Street Washington with Rev. David Stammerjohn officiating. Interment will be held at Lafayette Memorial Park at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Love Fund at Laboratory Presbyterian church of Tri- County Partnership for Independent Living (TRIPIL).
