Robert Burnell Frazier 89 of Amity died Sunday December 14 2014 in the Washington Health Systems . He was born in Washington on June 8, 1925 a son of the late Herbert Ruffo and Bessie Mae Scott Frazier. He attended Lone Pine school. He proudly served in the United States Navy Armed Guard during World War II from 1943-1946 earning the rank of Seaman 1st class. He was a member of Amity Methodist Church since 1946, where he served on the cemetery board. He was a 57 year member of American Legion Post 175 of Washington. He enjoyed going for drives, swimming, and woodworking, building many bird houses. He shared 60 years of marriage with the late Louise Mankey Frazier whom he married on July 1, 1946. Surviving are two children Robert Bruce Frazier of Claysville, Kathy Frazier DelBello of Sebastian, Florida, four siblings, Richard M. Frazier of Conway, SC, Margaret E. Barr of Semi Valley, Ca, Patricia L. McCrerey of Washington, Ronald S. Frazier of Punta Gorda, Fl, eight grandchildren Robert H. Frazier, Scott W. Frazier, Stacey L. McNay, Corey L. Frazier, Dominick Dex DelBello, Deana DelBello, , Jodie L. Paul, J. Bruce McCrerey, five great grandchildren Haylee White, Karlee Frazier, Logan McNay, Emily Jean Frazier, Robert James Frazier, a great great grandson Jonah Michael White, and Robert's fiancé Virginia Patton. Deceased in addition to his wife and parents are two brothers Donald M. Frazier formerly of Washington, and Paul K. Frazier formerly of Canonsburg. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, where funeral services will be held on Friday December 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m with Pastor Lois Swestyn and Pastor Michael Lehman officiating. Interment will follow in Amity Methodist Cemetery.
