Obituary
Robert J. Gayman, 67, of Marianna, died Monday, January 16, 2017, in Washington Healthsystem.
He was born December 27, 1949, in Brownsville, a son of Byron "Baldy" and Catherine Margaret Dietz Gayman.
He graduated from Bethlehem Center High School in 1967. He was employed as a pipefitter at U.S. Steel Clairton Works for many years before his retirement. He attended North Ten Mile Baptist Church.
Mr. Gayman enjoyed Mopar cars, football, the history and weather channels while spending time at home with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Helen S. Yakubik Gayman, whom he married February 5, 1973.
Also surviving are a daughter, Nicole (Raymond) Rossi of Scenery Hill; two sons, Robert Gayman II of Marianna and Daniel Gayman of Marianna; two grandchildren, Katerina and Ryan Findley; two brothers, Byron (Ruth) Gayman of New Hampshire and Kenneth (Carol) Gayman of Carmichaels; one sister, Sandra (Bill) Mesler of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
Also surviving are his two pets, Buddy and Belle, his favorite companions.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Nichol Funeral Home, 1728 Main Street, Marianna, PA 15345, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 20. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna.
