Robert R. Pope 89 of Marianna Tuesday March 01, 2022 in the Donnell House.  He was born in Marianna on March 3, 1932 a son of the late Regis and Blanche E. Myers Pope.  He graduated from West Bethlehem High School.  He retired from Bethlehem Mine #58 in Marianna in 1988.  He was a member of the former Sts Mary and Ann Roman Catholic Church.  Bob served in the United States Army from 1951-1953.  He was a member of American Legion Post 744 of Marianna.  On October 18, 1958 he married MaryAnn Lampart with whom he has shared 63 years of marriage.  Surviving in addition to his wife MaryAnn Pope of Marianna are a half brother Chuck Adams of Nevada, a grandson Robert Ehrhardt and a granddaughter Danielle (Justin) Topper, seven great grandchildren Emma, Kian, Dylan, Jonny, Ariella, Samantha, and Connor, son-in-law Robert Durbin, as well as many nieces and nephews.  Deceased in addition to his birth parents are Edwin Lively, who raised him with his mother Blanche, a son Bobby John Pope and a daughter Debra Pope Ehrhardt Durbin.  Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2-6p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington where funeral services will be held on Monday March 7, 2022 at 11:00a.m. Military Rites will be accorded by American Legion Post 744 of Marianna
