Ronald R. "Floozy" Miles, 62 of Washington died Tuesday November 3, 2015 in the Kindred Hospital, Oakdale, PA. He was born February 27, 1953 a son of the late Robert and Clare Jean Miles. He was a graduate of Washington High School and the Pittsburgh Aeronautics. He went to work at Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas for 6 years. Returning back to Washington, Pa in 1979 in then went to school and graduated from the PA State Police Academy in 1979. He worked for the Ellsworth Police Department then the East Washington Boro Police for 28 years, retiring in September 2015. He is survived by an uncle, Elmer R. (Maggi) McCoy. Of Wyoming, his best friends, Kenny and Kathy Schriskey and several cousins including Allan C. McCoy of Washington. He was a member of the Arms Club, Pulaski Club, Sons of American Legion, Keystone Club, Moose, Masonic Lodge , and the Blue Knights of Pittsburgh. Ron enjoyed riding his Harley and traveling with the Blue Knights. He also enjoyed spending time on his computer. Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, PA 15301 where funeral services will be held on Saturday November 7, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Linda Mankey officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray, PA
