Ronald Dale Stauffer, 60, of Marianna, PA, died July 1, 2017. He was born in Franklin Township, Greene County, PA on December 12, 1956, a son of the late Milford and Emma Jean Davis Stauffer.

Ron graduated in 1974 from Beth Center High School and in 1995 from Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing. He was a nurse at UPMC Hospital, Pittsburgh from 1995 until present. He also had 15 ½ years of service at Beth Energy Mine #60 in Cokeburg and was also a part-time real estate agent for Northwood Realty.

Ron loved spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed the outdoors. fishing and his pets.

On November 6, 1982, he married Marcia Fuchick of Marianna, PA, who survives.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter Megan (Jason) Retucci of Marianna, PA, and Ryan (Nicole Batovsky) Stauffer of Monessen, PA; three brothers John (Darlene) Stauffer, Marianna; Terry (Cathy) Stauffer, Clarksville; and Randy (Lauren) Stauffer, Ruff Creek; three grandchildren Connor Dale Stauffer and twins Chloe and Claire Stauffer and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received at Nichol Funeral Home, 1728 Main Street, Marianna, PA on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home, Marianna, with Brent Smith officiating.
