Ruth Ellen Bell 50 of Washington died Tuesday August 15 2011 in her home. She was born on January 16, 1961 in Washington, a daughter of Kenneth Lloyd and Janice Marie Redd Briggs. She was a 1978 graduate of Trinity High School and then went on to attend the Wilma Boyd career School. She worked for South Fayette as an administrative assistant for over 10 years where she was currently employed. She was a member of South Hills Bible chapel, the eastern Star of Washington, liked CLO, the POPS, Las Vegas, Florida trips, and spending time with family and friends. On September 20, 1980 she married Gerald V. Bell who survives. Surviving in addition to her husband of 30 years is her mother Janice Marie Redd, 3 sisters Barbara (Bryon) Coffman, Kathy Walker, and Mary Beth (Keith) Maxwell, 2 brothers Jeff (Nancy) Briggs, and Scott (Denise) Briggs as well as many nieces and nephews. Deceased is her father Kenneth Lloyd Briggs Family and friends will be received from 11:00-1:00p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington , PA 15301 where funeral services will be held at 1:00p.m. with pastor Linda Mankey officiating. Interment will be private
