Ruth Irma Ealy 88 of Washington, died Saturday September 23 , 2023 in her home.  She was bornJune 18,1935, the oldest child of Robert J. and Dorothy Jean Lyons Anderson.  She attended Washington schools.  She worked at Hilton Inn and then as a cook for Graysville Elementary School.  Ruth was a member of the Moose Lodge in Washington.  She loved horses, country western music, going to flea markets, and spending time with her family.  She is survived by 3 sons, Floyd Sr. and wife Peg Ealy, Dan Ealy Sr., Bruce Ealy, daughter-in-law Connie Ealy, 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, two brothers Donald, and Carl, as well as a sister Ellie, Deceased in addition to her parents are two sons Ronald Ealy Sr., Dale Ealy Sr., two sisters Hazel and Darlene, three brothers David, Lester and Bob, father of her children Floyd Franklin Ealy, as well as her companion of over 23 years John W. "Bill" Trussell who died in 2001.  Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 4-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington where funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 27 2023 at 11:00a.m..  Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
