Sally Kay Loar, 74, of Fredericktown, PA passed away from her short battle with cancer on February 18, 2024 in Harker Heights, TX surrounded by loved ones.

Sally was born at home in Washington, PA to John David and Mary Louise Vester on July 11, 1949. She graduated from West Greene High School. Sally was married to Donald Loar for 40 years. Sally has held many jobs throughout her life. She worked for Harmerville Rehab, Green Briar Rehab Center, and the Housing Authority.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband Donald Eugene Loar, her mother Mary Louise Poland- Vester, father John David Vester, brother John David Vester, and her sister Cathy Darlene Iams.

Sally is survived by her son Jeremy Loar and wife Jeannine Loar, her grandchildren Jackson, Jameson and Jocelyn. Sally also leaves behind her sister Deborah Sue Thomas (J.C.), Rhonda Jones, Mary Louise Bruno and many loved nieces and nephews as well as her beloved cat Lilly.

Family and friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 27, 2024 at 11:00a.m. Entombment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park.
