Obituary

Sharon S. McCaul 70 of West Bethlehem Township died Friday March 6, 2015 in Henry Clay Villas, Markleysburg. She was born in Jasper, Indiana on February 13, 1945, a daughter of the late Bernard and Anna Jane Lannon Leech. After graduating high school she went on to get her cosmetology license and become a beautician. She also worked for GG&C bus company as a driver and then in the office until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, animals, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. On October 22, 1989 she married James E. McCaul with whom she has shared 25 years of marriage. Surviving in addition to her husband are a son Michael (Elizabeth ) Meriwether of Dormont, two daughters Jeanne (Bruce) VanDyke of Standardsville, VA, Lynne (Jason) Miller of Bethel Park, a sister Patricia Bruner of Louisville, KY, two brothers Ronald (Jan) Leech of Birdseye, IN, David (Linda) Leech of Henderson, KY, eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents is a brother-in-law Paul Bruner. Family and friends will be received Monday from 6-8p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 11, 2015 at 11:00a.m. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
