Sherry Lynn Crow Cowden 46 of Bentleyville passed peacefully at home on March 18, 2025 surrounded by her family.  She was born in Washington on January 28, 1979.  She was a 1997 graduate of West Greene High School.  Sherry enjoyed her culinary training through Vo Tech.   She worked as a janitor for McGinley Maintenance for over 20 years.   Sherry played a crucial part in starting Blessings in a Backpack, now Bentworth Blessings which she loved to volunteer for.  She also was a member of Davidson United Methodist Church, enjoyed yard sales, being outside, hosting get togethers and just being surrounded by family and friends.  On September 4, 2004 she married the love of her life Mike Cowden of Bentleyville.  Surviving in addition to her husband of 21 years are a daughter Shelby and husband Henry Wright (Mathieu Wright), her Mom Peggy Crow,  sister Barbie (Eugene) Arlott, several nieces and nephews, as well as lifetime friends Tracy Peters, Audrey Anderson, Kari Beckett, and Francine Templeton.   She loved her dog Lucy and her cats.   Deceased are her Father William Crow, maternal grandparents Frank and Mary Southall, and paternal grandparents Dorothy and McKinley Crow.  Family and friends will be received Sunday March 23, 2025 from 2:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, where funeral services will be held on Sunday at 7:00 P.M. With Rev.
