Shirley L. Burnsworth 58 of Amity died Saturday August 20, 2016 in UPMC_Presbyterian. She was born in Washington on February 2, 1958 , a daughter of the late John and Rose Wilkinson Penn. She was a 1976 graduate of Trinity High School and then went on to Penn Commercial,. She worked for almost 30 years at the Washington Hospital in Employee Health. She was a member of North Ten Mile Baptist Church where she served as a pianist and church clerk. She enjoyed all crafts. On October 26, 1985 she married Thomas Burnsworth with whom she shared 25 years of marriage before his passing on June 3, 2010. She is survived by two sons Matt (Lee) Burnsworth and David Burnsworth, a sister Dolores Penn and brother Thomas Penn . Family and friends will be received Thursday August 25, 2016 from 2-7p.m. the time of funeral services in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington PA 15301with Rev.
