Shirley J. Tennant McKuhn 77 of Amwell Township died Tuesday May 22, 2012 in Allegheny General Hospital. She was born February 9, 1935 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Robert and Lucille Tennant. She was a 1955 graduate of Trinity High School and then went on to Penn Commercial. Shirley worked at the George Washington Hotel for many years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and was always up to help her husband with anything. She is survived by her husband of 47 years John Ralph McKuhn of Amity as well as a brother Robert Tennant. At the request of the deceased services will be private and handled by Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington.
