Thelma E. Iddings, 77 of Marianna died Friday November 28. 2014, at her daughters home in Georgia. She was born April 4, 1937 in Louisville, KY, a daughter of Earl and Viola Higdon. She graduated high school in 1955 then enlisted in the Women's Army Corps in June 1955. She married Arthur James Serenta Jr in 1957. He passed away 1967. They had three children, who are surviving, son, Arthur James Serenta III, who has two children Arthur Serenta IV and Laura Serenta, daughter, Patricia Serenta Milan who has two children Michael Milan II and Tiffany Milan Russell, daughter Victoria Serenta Browning, who has three children Callie Browning, Kevin Browning, and Chance Browning., In addition to her three children and seven grandchildren are six great grandchildren, three half sisters Deanna Lyon, Frances Hiltz, and Maeola Ogden, stepsister Shirley Willham. In 1982 she married Robert "Dusty" Iddings, who passed away in2009. Deceased in addition to her parents, first husband, Arthur James Serenta Jr, second husband Robert "Dusty" Iddings, a stepsister Virginia Harris. She was a member of Marianna American Legion Post 744. Her hobbies included quilting, winning many blue ribbons at county fair. She also enjoyed gardening. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2-8p.m in the Nichol Funeral Home 1728 Main Street, Marianna, PA 15345 where funeral services will be held on Friday December 5, 2014 at 11:00a.m. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna.
